Terry Vogel (Terry@EKNYC.com) Founder and CEO, has more than 20 years experience in event planning, design and production. Terry executes to perfection over 200 events a year ranging in size from 100 to 6,000 guests. Terry specializes in Corporate and Non- Profit Events.
Terry’s clients can attest that she always goes above and beyond for each and every event. Her devotion to her client’s needs makes them feel at ease from the planning process, all the way to the end of the event.
Terry has won two international awards for best event planner. She has been featured in the New York Times, Special Events Magazine, LI Pulse, Newsday, and Business LI.
Steven Vogel (Steven@EKNYC.com), Founder and President, has more than 20 years experience in event production, planning and design. As the President of the company he insures that the highest level of quality is implemented into the production of each event. Steven oversees the day to day operations all of the Event Kings Divisions.
Steven has been featured in Newsday, Crain’s, LI Pulse, and LI Business News. Steven is an active member of many Associations such as LICVB, LIASB and HIA. He also is the recommended event planner at many of New York’s exclusive event sites.
Steven and Event Kings even made an appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice Finale in 2012, helping out Team Clay with their Carnival Fundraiser.
Jessica Ciardullo (Jessica@EKNYC.com), Head Floral Designer and Co-Founder of King Lily Floral, Jessica is a graduate of Boston University and has more than 8 years in the event planning business and over 6 years as an event-floral designer. Jessica’s discerning taste and keen eye for detail make her a true asset.
Jessica is our in house floral designer, creating stunning floral creations for all our weddings, social and corporate affairs. Jessica has worked with many top vendors and premier locations in the Hamptons, Montauk and New York Metro area. Designing events for celebrities, dignitaries and everyone in between, her greatest joy is bringing a client’s vision to life.
Lisa Colavito (Lisa@EKNYC.com), Executive Assistant to CEO Terry Vogel & Director of Marketing, came to Event Kings as an intern and joined us full time upon her graduation from Farmingdale State University.
After producing events for the company for the last 4 years, she recently took on the role of assistant to Terry Vogel, to develop her expertise in the area of planning. While assisting Terry to plan a multitude of events, she still continues to produce Terry’s larger events and Event Kings Palm Beach events.
She continues to be in charge of the Marketing and Branding of all the Event Kings Divisions. Being part of the growth of Event Kings, and seeing the company develop from all her efforts in Marketing is her true passion.
Kate Weaver (Kate@EKNYC.com), Event Producer and Director of Warehouse Operations, first joined Terry and Steven in 1999 as a part time event employee.
Throughout the years the knowledge she gained from working all different types of events at all different levels has made her a true asset to the Event King’s Team. Kate realized at an early age that bringing an event to life was her true passion. She always hoped that it would become something she would be able to do fulltime.
In 2014 Kate joined our team full time as an Event Producer and Director of Warehouse Operations. Her 15 years of experience in the field brings a unique insight to each and every event.
Christine Dirr (Christine@EKNYC.com), Wedding Coordinator & Event Planner, first came to Event Kings as an intern in the fall of 2013. She officially joined the team after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor Degree in Public Relations and Event Management from St. John’s University.
Christine’s lively personality, creativity and eye for detail allows her to help plan all different types of events. After working alongside Terry, helping her plan and execute events, Christine realized her passion to plan social events, especially Weddings. Working together with our Floral Designer, Jessica, they truly capture and exceed the vision of the Bride and Groom every time.
Christine has a natural talent for event planning, and treats each and every client as if they were the only one. Christine is excited to help Event Kings expand their wedding market with her hard work and dedication.
A.J. Demichael (AJ@PromoKingsNY.com), Co-Founder of Promo Kings, joined the Event Kings staff part time during the Fall of 2013. After a few months, his role expanded into becoming the warehouse manager responsible for the back-end operations of Event Kings.
Upon his graduation from Hofstra University with a B.A. in Accounting, he knew he had a passion for the event business and needed to find a way to join the Event Kings team long term. Enter Promo Kings, the brain child of Terry, Steven and A.J., a way to expand the full line of services already being offered by Event Kings.
Now, as the co-founder of Promo Kings, A.J. is given the opportunity to grow the idea into a successful resource for both existing and new clients. Promo Kings provides a way for clients to give their brand better visibility and recognition by offering over 700,000 different promotional items while also maintaining the guarantee of high quality and service that has become synonymous with Event Kings.
Charese Shedrick (Charese@eknyc.com), Event Producer & Intern Coordinator came to Event Kings as an intern in the fall of 2014. Upon her graduation from SUNY College at Old Westbury with a Bachelors Degree in Media & Communications, she joined our team full-time.
Charese found her passion for Event Planning through creating and producing her own social events. As an Event Producer, it is Charese’s responsibility to bring half of our 300 events a year to life, making it a memorable experience for our clients. She also works together with Christine to recruit students with an interest in the Event planning field for internships. Charese has grown to be an integral part of the Event Kings team.
Patrick O’Brien (Pat@EKNYC.com), Event Producer and Director of Media, first joined Event Kings in 2014 as part time Event Staff.
Patrick got his media chops at SUNY Old Westbury where he worked in the radio and TV studios. After College Patrick began freelance work in film and television. Using his creativity and vision Patrick is able to translate his skills in television and film into the arena of Event Planning and Photography. The union of these two fields has had explosive results and he has been known to at times, make our guests feel like celebrities.
In 2016 Patrick joined our team full time as an Event Producer and Director of Media.
Kaleigh Colavito (Kaleigh@EKNYC.com), Executive Assistant to Steven Vogel, President and Event Producer, started as an intern for Event Kings in the Fall of 2015. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Sports/Entertainment/Event Management from Johnson & Wales University she joined the event team full time.
Kaleigh is detail oriented, has great vision and is passionate about transforming ideas into reality to ensure the success of the events she is involved in. The ability to work side by side with Steven and draw off of his vast knowledge and expertise has allowed Kaleigh to plan, produce and execute numerous memorable events for clients of Event Kings.
Kaleigh is looking forward to this opportunity and is excited to grow with Event Kings and contribute to their success through her dedication, creativity and hard work.
